    Sports Consulting Services

ISYX Technologies datacenter professionals have extensive experience in consulting, design and build services for new or retrofit data centers. Our experts combine design engineering and architecture of the MEP services with IT expertise. They design and build data centers to meet changing business needs with lower facilities capital and operating costs.

As businesses enter new markets and seek new ways to connect with customers, the demand for new IT services escalates. To keep up, IT implements flexible infrastructure like blade systems, storage-area networks and virtualization, all matched carefully to business needs. But there’s nothing flexible about that old data center—one size fits all. Every application gets the same facility services at the same cost.

We design and build modular, multi-tier data centers. Our approach helps align IT, facilities and line-of-business organizations to match data center capacity and flexibility to business needs. That means lower cost and more room to maneuver down the road.

The data center for converged infrastructure and cloud computing will be different from a traditional data center. Cloud computing requires that IT and Facilities can no longer take their own separate paths. In terms of resiliency, for cloud computing you need a facility that offers a flexible combination of redundancy and capacity to support IT processing. You want a high density infrastructure with efficient use of space, power and cooling for the pooled arrays of server, storage and network equipment. Instead of a redundant, highly fault-tolerant architecture, you need structured cable and power systems with flexibility to implement upgrades and configuration changes.

When it comes to orchestration, cloud computing demands an integrated operational management framework that includes the data center facilities. You want a variable, scalable, multi-tier infrastructure, driven by SLAs and with ability to alter capacity as needed to optimize CAPEX and OPEX. In particular, your facility should provide standardized power configurations that allow globally sourced IT equipment to be redeployed.

And while efficiency is always important the facility needs to provide green power and cooling that responds dynamically to the widely varying processing loads found in cloud computing.

Consulting

Do you need a new data center, or can you retrofit an existing one to meet future needs? Where should it be located? How large should it be? What levels of redundancy should you provide? Can you consolidate facilities? How can you better utilize space, power and cooling in your existing facility? These are questions ISYX Technologies experienced DC consultants can answer.

For each engagement, we put together a team of consultants and design engineers. We assess your current situation and evaluate your needs. Then we show you the steps you can take to create your data center solution and position yourself for long-term growth.

Design

When it’s time to build a new facility or retrofit an existing one, we translate your business and IT needs into a business case. Our team evaluates your site. We model reliability and costs, and we produce detailed engineering documents and, ultimately, signed and sealed engineering drawings.

Our design service provides:

  • Space and hardware planning—We analyze needs and design appropriate space for IT infrastructure.
  • Facility design and optimization programming— we right-size the facility by developing future state modeling and master plan scenarios for space, power, cooling and costs.
  • Engineering infrastructure design—we create cable runs that can support multi-product, multi-vendor environments.

Assurance

Can your data center do the job your business expects? We examine your facilities and operations to determine just that. And we recommend changes you should make to improve efficiency and prevent ugly surprises. Assurance services can include:

  • Commissioning and testing—we verify that the reliability and energy efficiency objectives of your engineering design are achieved.
  • Operational and reliability risk assessment—we identify vulnerabilities in systems and processes, and we recommend steps to reduce operational failures.
  • Facility operations strategy—we help you improve reliability through maintenance, management and testing programs.
  • Failure and forensic analysis—we help you improve preventive or remedial maintenance by producing reliable data on the condition and performance of critical systems.

Implementation

We act as prime integrator for the planning, design, building and commissioning of your data center. Our project experience and intellectual capital reduce risk. We spot single points of failure and design limitations that result in under or over sizing of equipment. We identify the potential for outages caused by improper configuration or a lack of contingency planning. And we help you avoid outdated approaches that create facility under-performance and restrict growth. Our Implementation Services include:

  • Data center design/build turn-key services—A turn-key solution for new greenfield (breaking ground), brownfield (existing structure) and retrofit data centers. Our experienced data center design/build project manager manages the program from requirements definition to project management services overseeing general contractors.
  • On-site services—Implementation services including project management of the build program, general site services, data cabling, electrical and rack installation services and site surveys.
  • Flexible Data Center—A pre-modeled data center featuring prefabricated quadrants, or modules, that stem off a central administrative section. Uses industrial components to improve cost deficiencies as well as a streamlined building process with a variety of options for power and cooling distribution.<

We do more than data centers. We provide comprehensive design services for other technology intensive facilities for enterprises, government and the military. Examples include command and control centers, call centers, high-performance computing centers, and network operations centers, broadcast studios, trading floors and operations facilities. If it’s packed with technology equipment and it’s mission critical, we can help you plan, design and build it
